Cross Border Score Functionality Launches on Tuesday 13 June

From Tuesday 13 June, golfers in Scotland will be able to post scores back to their handicap record through the My Scottish Golf app from any of the home nations – England, Wales and Ireland.

This means that wherever a golfer is playing in GB&I, their home nation’s app will be accept their score and attribute it to their handicap record.

Not only does this allow Scottish golfers to play and post scores outside Scotland, but the added functionality permits golfers from other jurisdictions to attest scores for each other, after playing together.

Scottish Golf is delighted that golfers across GB&I will be able to post scores in a frictionless way no matter where they play. It follows a very simple process, with only a couple of extra steps from those golfers will already be used to.

Details on how to post a score from another jurisdiction can be found on the How to Guides pages of the Scottish Golf website, and video walk-throughs are available for both Apple and Android users. My Scottish Golf app users can access 7-day support by emailing appsupport@scottishgolf.org

Interoperability has now launched through the App store and Google Play. Users of the My Scottish Golf app must download an update and will receive a notification to their app when it is ready.
