5th Medal Tee Renovation

Work will start next week (Wednesday) on renovating our 5th medal tee.

With the number of rounds of golf being played increasing the current tee requires improvement.

It is small in size in comparison to other tees on the course and this makes it awkward for mowing and sprayingpractices. The gorse has also started to invade the tee and this restricts where we can place the tee markers for play.

To enable this improvement the gorse on the dune between the 5th tee and 9th green will be removed by excavator. This will help the shade & growing issues we have on the 9th green and allow us to extend the 5th medal tee.

Making the tee larger will give us additional tee options thus making it better suited to cope with the increase volume of play at Powfoot GC.
