Captain Update

Dear Fellow Members

Thank you to everyone who attended opening day this year and welcome to the Summer Season 2022 at Powfoot Golf Club.

The course is an excellent playing condition as we go into April. Well done to the greenkeepers and the volunteers for their continued hard work throughout the winter months.

Going into the new golfing season, please follow the following guidelines:

• You should now revert to swapping cards
• Sign and counter sign each other’s cards
• Make sure your playing handicap is on the card
• Enter all scores into the computer in the clubhouse

Golfing Etiquette:

• Please replace your divots on the course
• Please repair pitch marks – your own and any others you may see
• Leave all bunkers as you would expect to find them
• Keep all trolleys and buggies outside the white lines away from the greens to prevent wear and tear
• Keep up with the game in front or let the game behind through as per local rules on the scorecard

Charity Event

On June 19, 2022, I will be playing 100 holes of golf in one day.  This will be in aid of Breast Cancer Research UK and Prostate Cancer Research UK.  Sponsorship forms will be available shortly.
