Green Keeper Vacancy

Powfoot Golf Club requires a full-time Greenkeeper to assist in providing first-class facilities to its members and visitors. The role is based on a 40-hour week.

Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper, the role involves the daily presentation and upkeep of the course, project work, and all other aspects of turf maintenance.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, and a team player. You will be joining a professional, motivated team dedicated to the upkeep of the courses.

Successful candidates require the following:

• A strong work ethic with a focus on attention to detail
• A positive attitude with excellent communication skills
• A desire to learn and develop within the role
• Enjoy working outdoors and in a team environment
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Required to work weekends on a rotational basis.
• Good knowledge and understanding of H&S

Desirable skills/qualifications:

• A good knowledge/interest in golf
• Previous Greenkeeping/sportsturf experience
• NVQ level 2/3 in Greenkeeping or Sports Turf
• PA1, PA2 & PA6 spraying certificates. (Desirable but not essential
