Captains October Update

Dear Fellow Members

As the golfing season draws to a close, I am pleased to announce that the Committee have concluded that now is the time for the club to move forward with all planned official and social events.

This means that all pre-planned events such as Ladies & Gents AGM’s, quiz nights and prize giving events will be going ahead this year. There will be some changes to how these events are conducted and these will be communicated to the attendees.

The Driving Range facilities improvement programme will be going ahead with the work hopefully starting Mid November 2021.

On behalf of the Committee, the members and myself I would like to give a massive thank you to Hoddom Concrete and in particular Pete Murray for the very generous donation of all the hardcore material that is needed for the above project.

Thank you to Steven Burgess who has been instrumental in putting together and pushing forward the Driving Range improvement plans.

The replacement of the existing sprinkler/irrigation system will take place over the next three years , as previously communicated. This is an essential piece of work as the old system is 25 years past its lifespan.

The above projects are important and essential for the continued improvement of your golf course and the golf course facilities.
