Course Conditions

Over the past few weeks we have had a cold dry frosty spell of weather with the ground remaining frozen throughout many days.

On Tuesday we had significant rainfall at the course. The majority of this rainfall has not been able to drain away as normal due to the frozen ground.

Due to continuing cold temperatures much of this rain has now frozen on the course causing underfoot conditions to be treacherous in places, resulting in the course being closed since Tuesday lunchtime.

When the course re-opens extra caution should be taken by golfers when at the course to avoid these frozen areas. Please, also, take care on all steps, teeing areas, slopes and pathways as these areas may also be icy.
