Golf Coaching at Powfoot

Dear Members

We are starting coaching sessions from this month, these will be delivered by John Burns, PGA professional and Roving Pro for Powfoot.

John was the Professional and Manager at Bull Bay Golf Club in Anglesey for over twenty years and prior to that was at Silloth Golf Club. He is looking forward to concentrating on coaching in future and will be available at Powfoot on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th June to have a chat and introduce himself to members.

Junior Coaching sessions start on 12th June between 10-11am for max 10 juniors, then another session from 11-12 am if more numbers want to attend and every following Saturday morning at the same time. Any youngster aged from 5 years to 17 years can attend. Clubs are provided and parents need to stay,  cost will be £5 per session. Please book a place via John or the office.

Get into Golf, a free taster session will run on the same day, Saturday 12th June between 2-4pm for any adult who fancies giving golf a try. No clubs, no worries, clubs will be available to use.  Please book a place via John or the office. Following this a programme of 6 sessions x 1 hour will be arranged for interested parties as a beginner or refresher course to Get into Golf for £30.
