| Thank you to everyone who’s been in touch with feedback since the launch of the new app. Listening to our community is at the heart of everything we do, and your input is helping us shape a better experience for golfers and clubs alike.
Over the past few days, we’ve rolled out a number of key updates and improvements. To make the most of them, members need to be using the latest version of the app:
• Manual update – go to either the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and select ‘Update’ on the new HowDidiDo app
• Automatic updates – check your App Store/Play Store settings and make sure ‘Automatic App Downloads’ is switched on
What’s been improved?
• Push Notifications
– Fully Enabled for all users
– New options to delete and clear notifications added
• Course Status
– Now appears on the dashboard above ‘Tee Bookings’ when updated within the last 48 hours
– Improved visibility with clearer indicators: Green = Open / Red = Closed
• Booking Countdown Timer
– Ensuring the live countdown works correctly, refreshes at zero, and opens bookings at the correct time
• Accessibility Enhancements
– Including improvements for scrolling, small devices, dark mode and display text
What’s coming next? The next wave of enhancements will be available in the coming weeks, including:
• Apple Pay – making it quicker and easier to pay for competitions, bookings and club subscriptions with a seamless, secure checkout
• Two’s on Leaderboards – see Two’s clearly displayed alongside results, adding extra interest and friendly competition on the leaderboard
• Joining Partial Teams – players will be able to join partially full tee times when booking a tee time
• Attestation Markers – helping golfers confirm scores quickly and with confidence
